My First Vegas Show!

Chillin' by the pool
Yesterday was quite uneventful.  We chilled at the pool and won a pretty decent goodie basket from a raffle.  Other than that, not much else.  A little bickering, but what do you expect with 6 kids?

It was very picturesque
Today was a little more exciting.  After a late breakfast, we took Silly Sally to The Strip, and parked at Planet Hollywood.  It was extremely hot and the walking was kinda tiring, so when we went inside and walked around and took advantage of the free things to do in Vegas is a nice treat.  While there, we went to the Bellagio Conservatory, which was very pretty.  The Koi fish swimming around mesmerized my brothers and after the first run through, we took our time observing everything.  I thought that the aviary was particularly interesting.  Afterwords, we walked around The Strip and head to Caesars Palace and saw the aquarium and free show.  While we were walking, we got to see the Bellagio fountain in action, which startled me when it went off while I was walking.  It sounded like a cannon, but when I turned around it was only water!

Before and After
Group photo!
The aquarium was decent, although brother #2  and #4 were tired and whiny.  They just sat in front of the aquarium, sulking, not even smiling for the group photo.  But brother #1 was eager to walk around with me, looking at the aquarium and little videos they were playing.  Brother #3 was a little tired, but looked around a bit as well.  We got a little split up here because Mother went shopping, but she made it in time for the show! The show was pretty good for being free and the fire and water effects amazed my brothers.

After that, we head back to Planet Hollywood and had a pretty delicious dinner at the Earl of Sandwich.  By now, it was close to show time.  So we split up, Mother taking the Baby and Father taking the rest of the children, including me.  The show we saw was V-The Ultimate Variety Show.  Mother managed to get the tickets 75% off thanks to her timeshare and the show was pretty decent.  Some of the performances were very impressive while rest were comedy acts.  A little bit of inappropriate humor, but overall, I liked it and so did everybody else.  Unfortunately, we weren't permitted to take any pictures or videos, so I have nothing to show for it.  But there was a balancing act, juggling, rhythmic gymnastics, dancing, and much more interesting stuff.

The show ran 1hr and 20min, so when it was over it was fairly late.  We went home immediately and found out that Mother had done a little shopping while we were at the show.  Originally, our plan was to go to the pool, but we returned later than expected, so we're just chilling in our room until it's time to sleep.
